I'm a work in progress... trying to get fit and get healthy, by eating right and exercising. I have lost weight, but the biggest bonus is the energy I have now, and how I have a focus in my life. I like to blog, I'm inherently lazy, and I get paid to be fit- it's in my job description. I live in Darwin, Australia, and I'm a waddler. I run because I enjoy it. I like to be a bit faster than I was 12 months ago, but I'm not a racer. I would like to run 250K through the Gobi desert before I turn 50, but after only 100K in 1 months (as opposed to 2 days!), I realise my feet will probably snap in the process. *sigh* Facebook: hinuk shines email: hinukshines@gmail.com wordpress: hinukshines.wordpress.com (and no, it's not my name - it's two random words) Peace out.

while not leaving town. First, I booked us into a day spa (Cullen Bay day spa) for a few hours, and while the lush of my life thought the facial was a little girlie for his sensitivites, he enjoyed the massage and scrub and soak.
Two nights in two different hotels; the first was an apartment overlooking the bay, with a bed so soft I thought I was sleeping on a cloud - until I woke up with a very sore back from it! I even considered sleeping on the floor, and would’ve done, but then we changed to the hotel room down the road.
The votes are in - apartments are better. You can make your own meals, and don’t have to put up with prissy house keepers turning down your bed while you’re out to dinner. The plus side, was the bed. Stupendous. The down side, the buffet dinner. It wasn’t advertised as seafood - which I don’t eat and wouldn’t have paid for - so I ate a plate of lettuce. Apparently that counts as a ‘meal’, so they wouldn’t refund us our money. So, the Darwin Skycity Casino feels it is perfectly sensible to charge someone $35 for a plate of lettuce.
I think we’ll not be going back there in a hurry, regardless of how fantastic the bed was.
