I'm a work in progress... trying to get fit and get healthy, by eating right and exercising. I have lost weight, but the biggest bonus is the energy I have now, and how I have a focus in my life. I like to blog, I'm inherently lazy, and I get paid to be fit- it's in my job description. I live in Darwin, Australia, and I'm a waddler. I run because I enjoy it. I like to be a bit faster than I was 12 months ago, but I'm not a racer. I’m 43 (ha - that looks SO FUNNY. Who wrote that??), and live in Darwin, Australia. I started 2011 at 180lbs (82kg), and am down to 152.7 (69.5) ish. During the course of the year I learned that starches and sugars make me fat, so I have to minimise them if I want to lose weight. I still have a fair way to go, but I’m in a much better place mentally and physically than I have been for years. The pisser is that my alcohol tolerance has gone to hell, but it’s definately worth it. Most days, anyway…
